Walking in the rain
never felt this good
laughing and lost again
among familiar streets
I think I've been here before
I know I've seen this before
aimless but I'm sure
we like it this way
put that map away
we've been waiting for the night to fall all day
put that map away
don't look over your shoulder
we'll never see the way
but if you wanna break left
I can always break right
just another face in the crowd
alone in this rainy night
I think I've been here before
I know I've seen this before
aimless but I'm sure
we like it this way
put that map away
we've been waiting for the night to fall all day
you don't have to stay
I don't have to stay
laughing and lost again
Wild-eyed, manic punk rock from this group hailing from all over the world, combining the fury of hardcore with gothic gloom. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 9, 2016
The Minneapolis band add a horn section, a running surrealist allegory about walls, and an occasional nod to the elegiac to their electroshocked post-punk. Bandcamp Album of the Day Mar 4, 2024
Opener absolutely rips. Falls into the ranks of tracks like “Dance” by ESG, “Eisbaer” by Grauzone, “Damaged Goods” by Gang of Four or like the album description says Kleenex. This is some really good stuff. Favorite song is the opener but dedicate “Blue” to my friend Blue who lost her life at 22, she would have loved this album. TheBloodofChrist
